도시건축설계연구실 MARS(Metropolitan Architecture Research Studio)는 건축과 도시 공간의 관계를 탐구하고, 연구를 기반으로 설계를 수행하는 연구실입니다. 다양한 스케일의 건조환경을 대상으로 심층적인 분석과 다분야적 연계를 바탕으로 공공적·사회적 가치를 실현하는 공간의 가능성을 모색합니다. 이를 토대로 도시적 맥락에 대응하는 실천적 건축 전략을 연구하고, 새로운 공간적 대안을 제시합니다.
Metropolitan Architecture Research Studio (MARS) is a design-oriented research laboratory that explores the relationship between architecture and urban space, while pursuing design through research. Focusing on the built environment across multiple scales, the studio investigates the potential of space to realize public and social values through in-depth analysis and interdisciplinary collaboration. On this basis, MARS studies practical architectural strategies that respond to urban contexts and proposes new spatial alternatives.
